We believe young people need to be supported and taught new concepts of how to deal with challenging situations, people, thoughts and behaviours during this critical and influential period of their development. Its vital they are fully equipped to deal with and resolve any inner turmoil and the negative impact that could occur, is reduced considerably.
MENTAL WELLBEING AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
As part of our Elite Pupil Programme we introduce learners to a healthy lifestyle, confidence, nutrition and exercise, enabling them to make the right life choices and how that impacts on mental wellbeing.
MOTIVATION AND LEADERSHIP
Supporting people to make better informed life choices. Our informal sessions are designed to help students understand and make sense of their emotions and recognise that they can be in control and take responsibility of their thoughts and behaviour whilst at the same time implementing new methods of managing themselves.
PHYSICAL FITNESS AND EXERCISE
Headed by ex-forces Physical Training Instructors and world class Ex-Professional Athletes, students are guided on physical exercise and shown how being active can boost self-esteem, mood and make a happier life. In our Physical Wellbeing Workshops individuals are informed regarding the importance of nutrition and how what you eat can have a positive or negative effect on a healthy lifestyle.
NUTRITION AND A HEALTHY PLATE
Our workshops highlight the different types of food that make up our diet, and show the proportions we should eat them in to have a healthy, balanced diet. Eating healthily is about eating the right amount of food for your energy needs. In the UK, a growing number of people are either overweight or obese. This means many of us are eating more than we need, and should eat and drink fewer calories to lose weight.
